LABORATORY ACCREDITATIONS

The Pathology Clinical Services laboratories are licensed by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) under the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments of 1988 (CLIA ’88). The
College of American Pathologists (CAP) is the accrediting organization for all specialties and subspecialties with the exceptions of the Blood Bank and Tissue Antigen, which are accredited by the American Association of Blood Banks (AABB) and the American Society for Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics (ASHI) respectively.
